Week 3, Post-trial

[persevers]

[That trial was a rough one for many, and it showed with how somber the mood was all around the building. It's with this in mind that Rokurou comes by Hubert's office. If the door isn't left entirely open or anything, he'll actually knock and speak up from the hallway instead of marching in though.]

Hey, do you have a minute?

[knowlogram]

Oh, hey. Come on in.

[Hubert's sitting at his desk as usual, staring a bit pensively at a potted fire flower sitting on his desk.]

[persevers]

Thanks.

[He enters, although he doesn't bother to take a seat. Putting a hand on his hip, he gives Hubert a bit of a once over from where he's standing instead, only speaking up once he's taken the entire scene in. Being delicate has never really been his strength, so he'll cut straight to the point.]

You seemed pretty gloomy during the trial. Any particular reason for that?

[knowlogram]

Huh? No, no, I'm fine. Just a little unexpected results, I guess. A good scientist rolls with that kind of thing!

[persevers]

If you say so. [There's a note of skepticism in there, but he'll drop it.]

What exactly was so unexpected about it, though? Didn't this turn out exactly how you guys wanted it?

I didn't expect to- um.

[You can probably kind of see the mental backtracking.]

Ivar was kind of an X-factor in the way things played out.
