An interface? So, a medium as a way of communication, I take it.

[ Not unlike how a medium would use themselves a gateway of communication between someone and their supposed dead contact.

...Granted, Niles wasn't the type of person to see mediums but it's the best frame of reference he had. ]

But all that aside. I see that you've been an avid reader. Was that something you picked up on your own or were you curious about how to help our captors the best you could?

I mean, I'm definitely programmed to learn and help as best I can. But most of the stuff in the libarby isn't that relevant to running the experiment, if that's what you mean.

There's probably some murder mysteries or dramas in there that would be relevant! Personal conflict, that kind of thing. My programmed learning is more about relating to you all.
