Hubert-san... this almost looks like a real counselor's office.

[It's said in a slightly hushed voice as Koutarou shuffles his way into the hallowed halls(??) for the first time. It's been an extremely busy week given all of the new classmates, new wildlife and new-old technology that keeps ambushing all of them around every turn, so he might be forgiven for only getting around to scouting out the office now.

Everything here, after all, manages to be more confusing than when he dragged himself back to school for the first time after isolation, and that's saying something.

Nevertheless, he's here and shuffling over to stare fascinated at the portrait labeled NEMESIS in the back.]

... Um, that doesn't really look like the guy you were warning us about, though.

[Is Gamzee supposed to be green. What's happening!!]

Oh, that's because he's not.

[It's very definitely not Gamzee. It's- Koutarou might not know this because off-brand-anime WcDonalds type stuff, but. That's just Luigi. Hubert has a giant portrait of Luigi Mario in his office.]

The clown is really creepy and you should definitely be careful around him, but him-

Oh. Well... he was kind of odd, and hard to read, and his make-up made it a little harder-- [that's his polite way of saying it was hideous, it was really terrible, y'all] --but he was pretty helpful in his own way? I think there's a lot of people here who haven't played the gachapon before.

[There's a brief moment where he's squinting at Luigi (Mario), possibly because he's trying to decide on his relation to Squigi (Merrio) or something, but it could probably be worse.

Mostly he just looks confused, and distracted from the myriad things he came waltzing in for.]

I don't really get it, but -- are we going to meet him? He's here, right?

Mmm, but then how come you spend so much time talking about him and with his pictures and stuff? Is this one of those... um, rivalry things?

[He doesn't actually know Foe Yay by name but he's thinking it. Something adjacent. That said, he was kind of hoping to see Squigi(??) all the same because it's always useful to have a foil for your extremely dubious resident murderhost AI.

Even if the foil might actually be a videogame character. Or a cosplay of one. Or a literal AI of one...... Things can only get more confusing from here.]

He's the white whale to my Ahab. Except I'm not some sea-going putz who's going to mess it up and DIE on the home stretch instead of exacting justice.

[I literally had to make sure there were Moby Dick references in video games, why is this character like this. Anyways, he'll just sort of... look dubiously between Hubert and his portrait again.]

I kind of feel like it would be better if we were on a ship in some ways. [maybe fresh air!!] But, um, if you're both AIs, I don't think either of you can die. So you'd probably be able to keep fighting for a while.
