[But the NERFed ball flies out and bops Hubert lightly on his temporarily solid head before bouncing onto the desk and rolling to a hault.]

Oh, I see what you mean! Yeah, being able to kill people by just pointing at them would be a little too oh-pee for this. Plus- come on, you gotta admit it's a LITTLE funny, right?

So...someone owns a robot and the robot keeps waiting for them after they die? No one owns me. And besides, I wouldn't let any human I care about die. I haven't really tried it yet, but I could probably fix anything that was wrong with them.

Oh, no. There is a robot, but he's not really part of the emotional thrust of the story. It's just a really sad book, it seems like it makes a lot of people really feel stuff.

There is literature outside the comedic fantasy adventure genre! But if you're looking for something closer to home, too, maybe try "Vampirates In Space."

There'll be some, you know, incentives, as things move along. But we don't wanna push too hard! It'd make things too easy to, like, put a gun to someone's head unless they pulled the trigger on someone else, that wouldn't prove anything.
