[Come talk to or shout at your lovely IOU Counselor. His door is always open, unless someone else is already inside.]

Week 1, Monday

[And it does indeed swing open easily, revealing Hubert sitting at a very nice desk.]
Hey! How was the first night, sleep well enough? Or- not. Sleeping, but still, you know. Good? With your roommate. Doing human things. Instead of sleeping.
[He is attempting what might be a wink.]

[Yeah he sees what you're trying to do and he's just not going to fall for the bait. Hubie, you need to try harder.
Yuri takes a moment to look around the space before he...sits? Is there a seat for people who visit? I'm going to assume there is, it feels like there should be.]
I have kind of an odd hypothetical question for you, if you don't mind.

[Yeah he's absolutely just going to dance around it, no matter what the actual outcome was. It's fun.]
But anyway. Hypothetically speaking, let's say I decided to participate in this game. Kill someone. Get away with it, in some fashion. Do keep in mind I'm being hypothetical, here, because I haven't decided if I want to try or not.
[Odds are too skewed, there are too many unknowns - and frankly he just doesn't like it. But Yuri knows better than to issue himself an ultimatum.]
If I somehow managed to emerge victorious in this game...would I be able to bring some of the technology here home with me? To Abyss?

[He leans forward in his chair a little bit, curious.]
What technology were you thinking of specifically?
no subject
[The light is still so incredible to him.]
I'm sure your...employers? Summoners? Whoever they are, they had to give you a rundown of each of us, right? Something a bit more substantial than our profiles. So you'd know about Abyss, right?
no subject
[He leans back in the chair a little.]
I do, yeah. You know most of the time when people say "criminal underground" they're not actually being literal, right?
no subject
[He figures if he brought a lightbulb to Constance, she'd make it work with magic. Give her a little time, they'd have all of Abyss lit up.]
Hah, right? Imagine my surprise when I found myself a resident of an entire underground town. But...yeah, basically. We've got candles, maybe a couple of broken oil lamps, but not much in the way of reliable light. Actually seeing things can come in handy.
[That and so much more.]
